On any normal given year, being a teacher is a hard job. Teachers spend hours each day and much of their own money on behalf of our children. Over the past year, the job of a teacher has even become more difficult as they navigated how to best do their job during a pandemic.
At Pacific Heritage, in North Salt Lake City, Utah, the teacher’s, administration, and staff have felt the many strains of their job. Students and teachers spent much of the first half of the year teaching students all online and recently changed to a hybrid schedule to accommodate the changing needs of the families, students, and the pandemic.
Pacific Heritage is a title one school that teaches about Pacific Islander Heritage. At Entourage, we wanted to celebrate and honor the hero’s behind the masks at Pacific Heritage. To help the school celebrate teacher and staff appreciation, we wanted to show the teachers how much we value what they do each day. Mindy and Emily planned and prepared lunch for the staff. Sandwich’s, chips, fruit, and cookies were enjoyed by all.
We appreciate all you do for the rising generations! The Kumu’s (teacher’s use their Pacific Islander titles) are Voyagers working hard to make our students strong and courageous. Thank you for all you do!
